We Are Valley Panthers - May 1
The
Valley Panthers have posted their documentary (tentatively titled, "We Are
Valley Panthers"). Produced by
Lyons Productions,
the video features highlights and interviews with Valley Panthers founders Brian Irvine
and Edward Evans who explain their humble beginnings and their
philosophy of preparing children for life through the metaphor of football.
Other interviewees include Mighty Mite coach Jeffrey Armstead, Bantam coach
Robert Camacho, J-1 coach Keith Bowman and J-2 coach Mike Winston. The
documentary is posted in three parts in the Multimedia section of this website.
Ex-NFL Star offers off-season training - April 20
Former NFL player Corey Harris is set to offer a free football seminar on April 25 at Crespi High School from 2pm to 4pm for all Valley Panther players. During the seminar parents will have the opportunity to enroll their child in Harris' Valley Football Academy, an off-season mini-camp to teach players advanced training techniques. The VFA session will begin in May and be held twice per week through the second week of June.
The former SuperBowl champion will also offer his Football Summer School from the third week of June through the end of July. Those sessions will be held three days per week. If your son is playing football this fall, the next three to four months could change his life on and off the field.
Please make sure your child is on time, wears workout attire (shorts, shirt, running shoes, cleats), brings water and comes ready to listen, ask questions, learn, compete and have fun!

Valley Panthers enter fifth season - March 15
We welcome everyone to the 2010 PANTHER football season. As members of the GCYFL, we continue to share the progressive vision and commitment in providing a quality atmosphere and product throughout the conference.
We have some exciting changes in the conference (new division), as well in the Panther organization. We are excited and looking forward to this our 5th season. Our board and coaches are in place, and looking forward to registration.
Our goal for registration (2010) is to have it 90% complete on or before June 1st! We have a lower registration fee this season, which will end on June 1st! By setting this goal, it will enable us to size and fit everyone for new uniforms and equipment prior to the season commencing. Additionally, the Y.A.T. Football Clinics will return in June. Our focus needs to shift to off-season football training starting June 1st.
Registration forms are available online this year. Download the forms in the Registration section and bring the completed forms with you on your chosen registration date.
